We have been receiving many requests for curtains inside of large barns to help control airflow and ventilation. Large free stall barns with high clearance and tunnel ventilation are constantly in search of the best way to keep their livestock comfortable. Proper ventilation in large barn is essential to the health and production of your herd.

Keeping Your AG Curtains Clean

We wish we could guarantee that our curtains will stay sparkly clean and white all of the time, but with normal day to day use, your curtains will get dirty. Shady Lane Curtains recommends keeping your curtains rolled up as much as possible to limit dirt accumulation. A curtain not needlessly exposed to the elements is a happy curtain! (Please note that curtain damage that results from carelessness in rolling up your curtain will void your warranty).

Your curtains should be washed annually to restore them. Use water and a mild detergent to pre-soak the curtain. DO NOT USE Clorox, bleach or harsh cleaners. Wait about an hour and use a brush or rag to loosen dirt. Rinse curtain within 30 minutes and let dry. If using a pressure washer, do not spray directly at curtain and avoid spinner nozzles.

Never use a pressure washer on curtain windows. Regular maintenance is the best way of keeping your ag curtains clean. We now offer professional curtain cleaning services. Contact us for details.
